"I see my involvement as a way of giving back to a musical community that helped nurture my gifts from childhood to present. I am grateful that I am in the position to raise the awareness of the next generation of listeners, composers, and theorists that music is an important part of all of our lives in the hope that they will carry on a legacy of studying and creating an art form that has been evolving for centuries."
~ Christian Martin
